Last Monday a sub-committee (OC manager, Facilities Manager, Chairmen & Committee Member) met with our lift contractor Otis to discuss recent lift outages in the building.
I can inform you that all lift repairs are now complete and our lift is operating as it should.
We have requested a full detailed report from Otis to advise us on our current lift conditions and what we can do improve our lifts. This is to also include their advice on a full lift upgrade and costing.
We were told we would have this report within two weeks.
As a proactive measure we have met with another lift contractor to also seek similar advice and to take on the service agreement, at a saving to the OC or at the same price.
